it took about a week of use just before i observed a distinction. i have particularly fine, flat, straight hair and normal shampoos and conditioners seemed to usually weigh it down, even ones particularly for volume. after about a week of employing this item i did notice some even more body to my hair. i find that though i am in a position to comb though wet, i nevertheless use a light weight leave-in conditioner. overall i am happy and will buy once again.

update i am now 3-quarters finished with the bottle and i no longer require the further leave-in spray conditioner. my hair combs effortlessly when wet just after the shampoo. my hair feels and looks healthier. i am acquiring a different bottle at this time.
